Welcome to Pure Illusion Snaps by Maya King

My name is Maya King, and I am a northern Ohio-based digital artist. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in the spring of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Art, focusing in Digital. During my time at BGSU, my coursework included VFX, typography, branding, storyboarding, collaborative video, rigging, User Experience (UX), and I have had the opportunity to craft art spanning from Graphic Design to 3D animation.

I have experience in programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud, with advanced skill in Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Illustrator. I also have experience using Blender, Maya, and Sony Vegas. I have been photographing and video editing since I was in middle school, after discovering an art community within a video game, and the rest is history. I enjoy picking up new mediums every day!

When I am not making art, you can find me hiking, singing, traveling, learning new recipes, learning new languages, walking my cat, or working as a flight attendant.
